The Spain Travel Award Program is available only to an Eligible Partner of an agency currently contracted and actively representing Pie Insurance Services, Inc. (“Pie”). The Eligible Partner with the most New Premium Bound wins a seven-day trip to Barcelona, Spain (“Trip Reward”).
The Spain Travel Award Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply, as well as the terms and conditions of any brokerage agreement in place with Pie.
By participating in this program, each agent and agency agrees to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of Pie, which are final and binding on all matters relating to all aspects of the Spain Travel Award Program. Pie reserves the right to interpret rules and award bonuses based upon results according to Pie records as of the completion of the Spain Travel Award Program. Pie reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the winner, and Pie’s decision in such matters shall be final. Not all agents, agencies, or partners who represent Pie will qualify for the Spain Trip Award Program.
Winning partner must be contracted and actively representing Pie at the time of the trip. Must have valid passport and guest must be of legal age with a valid passport. The Spain Travel Reward is for the winner and one guest only and is not redeemable for cash, cash equivalent, or any other prize. Trips are non-transferable, and the winner and/or guest may wish to purchase travel insurance. Winner is responsible for taxes and will receive a 1099 for $5,000.00, the “fair market value” of the trip. Any additional travel or trip-related expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
Pie reserves the right to cancel, change destination, or alter the structure of the Spain Travel Award Program at any time prior to trip departure. If the program is canceled, Pie will pay the fair market value of the Trip Reward to the winner.
Travel and Loss Responsibility. Pie and its partner travel company maintain no control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of any air, water, or surface carrier, ship line, bus or limousine company, transportation company, hotel, restaurant, or other person or entity furnishing services, products, or accommodations as part of the trip, because all of these suppliers are independent contractors. Pie and the travel company shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused or contributed to: (1) by any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of theses suppliers or any of their agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors; (2) by any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrumentality, service, product, or accommodation which is owned, operated, furnished, or otherwise used by any of these suppliers; (3) by any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not under the direct control of the Pie or the travel company, respectively; or (4) by any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the direct control of Pie and/or the travel company. During the trip, the participant may have the opportunity to participate in various optional activities, such as water sports and other athletic activities, contests, excursions, and side trips. Pie and the travel company shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity arising out of or relating to said participation. By participating in this Spain Travel Award Program trip, agent, agency and guest agree to release Pie Insurance Services, Inc., its parent, subsidiaries and employees (“Releasees”) from any and all claims arising out of injury, damage or loss of any kind to person and property that in any way results from participation in the incentive trip and further agree to indemnify Releasees and to hold Releasees free from any and all liability, claim, action, damage, expense and loss of any kind caused by or arising out of any act or failure to act on the part of the agent, agency, guest or Releasees.
